Do you really care to know about me? Frankly I don't know who I am.
I can tell you what I like to do or how I look on this connected world of the Internet. Internet is sort of a perfect thing for a person like me who is at times inward going and has limited topics to talk about. If it does not have enough ROI, I probably don't like to waste time talking about it. If I can not do something about something, I like not to talk about it or waste my braincells or mind on it. You would be surprised to see how well I am with stock prices, math and other numbers but when it comes to typical weather/temperature numbers in LA or any part of my world, I am too bad!!!

I never thought I would get into teaching but that is what I ended up doing after my college in India. Besides work, it gave me enough time to pursue my interests...and that is how I got into stock trading, MBA, CFA, InvestMentor...Now I think a teaching job is better than most jobs out there.
I never imagined that I would work for someone!!! For me, "Sa vidya ya vimuktaye"- a saying in Sanskrit has been my life motto- it means education/learning is to help a person be free from 'bandhans' (IMO corporate, institutional and bosses LOL). I tried it. After MBA I founded a financial services company and obtained seat on India's biggest stock exchange but unfortunately a very extended bear market- Post Harshad Mehta- in Indian stocks tested my nerves. Also having most family living in the USA and having a US green-card, I found an excuse to 'run away'. (Though the market was bad in India but my company was profitable declaring dividends from very first year. http://www.investmentoronline.com). And now I am in the USA- in same job for last many many years. No complaint about the job though. It is a good fit for both. I do my best for the company and company doesn't bother with anything else. Takes good care.
